We organise workshops for the women of the community to teach them the basics of business.
Starting capital
We provide the women with a small amount of capital so they can start their business and put in practice what they have learnt.
Follow-up sessions
We accompany the women during all the stages of their activity and we organice support lessons
Disabled Kids Program
In collaboration with Life With Hope Foundation & Buswelu Primary School
Support for education
To attend school, this kids need the same as others (uniforms, material...) but some of them also have special needs (like diapers). We work to ensure they have what they need, no matter what.
Awareness for parents
Some parents of disabled kids still believe their issues to be a bad omen. We plan workshops to show them that their kids are just like any other - only with some special needs.
Future plans
1 / Improve our learning center
We want to increase the capability of our learning center to be able to welcome more kids. We also want to build a playground and increase our support for the disabled children in the area, whatever their condition might be.
2 / Build a new polyclinic for disabled children
We would like to start a polyclinic center here so we are able to treat the conditions of our disabled students. The clinic would be opened to more people, but it will be free of charge for our students.
3 / Create an IT learning center
It is more important than ever to teach children basic IT skills in this Age of Technology. We want to start an IT center (basically one or two classrooms with computers and a qualified teacher) to provide our students with a more complete set of skills for their future.
